Cairo – Arab League foreign ministers will hold an emergency video meeting. It will take place tomorrow, Sunday. The purpose is to discuss Iranian attacks. These attacks targeted the territory of some Arab countries. Assistant Secretary-General Hossam Zaki reported this.
Zaki explained the meeting was called by several Arab nations. These include Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt. The goal is to follow up on recent security developments. They will also coordinate official responses to various threats.
This meeting follows a recent aggression. The United States and the Zionist entity launched it last Saturday. It targeted Iran. Strategic sites were hit in Tehran, the capital. Other cities like Isfahan, Karaj, and Kermanshah were also targeted. Tel Aviv and Washington described the operation. They stated its goal was to dismantle Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities.
Iran responded to this aggression. It launched missile and drone attacks. These targeted US interests across the region. Gulf states and Jordan were among the affected areas. Iran considered these attacks a direct response. They retaliated for strikes on its territory and strategic sites.
