Tripoli – The Environmental Sanitation Monitoring and Management Committee of Central Tripoli Municipality, in cooperation with the Municipal Guard, conducted an inspection campaign targeting several shops, restaurants, and barbershops within the municipality.
According to the municipality, the campaign resulted in legal action against multiple violators. Authorities shut down a toast production factory, as well as several restaurants, cafes, food stores, bakeries, and barbershops, after documenting violations of health and environmental regulations.
The committee stated that these efforts are part of an ongoing plan to strengthen oversight of commercial and service activities. The goal is to ensure compliance with safety and public health standards to protect citizens.
The committee emphasized that the law will be strictly enforced and that there will be zero tolerance for violations. They called on business owners to fully adhere to health and environmental regulations to avoid strict legal consequences.
