Sebha – The Faculty of Languages at Sebha University held a celebration today, Tuesday, to mark International Students’ Day and to honor its top-ranking students. The event was attended by the university’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Moussa Mai, the Head of the English Language Department, Al-Arabi Abdul Salam Abdul Nabi Al-Maghribi, in addition to faculty members and a gathering of students.
In his speech during the celebration, Al-Maghribi explained that this event is part of the faculty’s commitment to university students and supporting their academic journey. He noted that it is an initiative that reflects the faculty’s dedication to building a stimulating educational environment that encourages students toward greater diligence and excellence. He expressed his hope that this celebration would become a regular event, giving students their standing within the university and encouraging other students to elevate their academic level.
The celebration honored 21 high-achieving students, ranking from first to tenth, with their scores ranging between 85 and 97 percent. All the honorees received first-class honors in recognition of their efforts and outstanding results during the academic year.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, its organizers affirmed the Faculty of Languages’ continued support for excellence and the development of the educational process at Sebha University, noting that these activities are part of the faculty’s role in serving its students and creating a more interactive and high-quality educational environment.
