Return of firefighting cadres from the Development Authority after training in Belarus

Benghazi – Firefighting and rescue personnel have returned to Libya. They are from the National Development Agency. They received advanced training in Belarus. This training was directly supported by the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces. It was guided by First Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief.

This initiative enhances the national safety system. It also improves the efficiency of specialized personnel. The goal is to ensure a swift and effective response to various emergencies. It also aims to address disasters across the country.

On Thursday, the National Development Agency welcomed the second batch of firefighters and rescuers. This group consisted of 93 trainees. They returned home after completing an advanced training course. The course was held at the Civil Protection University’s training center in Belarus.

The training program included theoretical lectures. It also featured advanced practical applications. These covered fire suppression and emergency response. Dealing with natural and industrial disasters was also included. The aim was to develop the national cadres’ ability to make quick decisions. It also aimed to execute field operations efficiently and safely.

The trainees’ efforts culminated in receiving certified certificates. These were from the International Civil Defence Organization. This ensures their skills are internationally recognized. It also enhances their readiness to face local and regional emergencies.

The National Development Agency affirmed these training programs. They are part of a comprehensive strategy. This strategy aims to raise the efficiency of national personnel. It also strengthens the occupational safety system. It develops institutional performance according to the highest approved standards. The programs reflect an investment in human capital. They build qualified national cadres. These cadres can face urgent challenges. They contribute to protecting lives and property. They also enhance community security.

This batch is a continuation of the first group. The first group also trained in Belarus. It comprised 60 trainees. This is part of an integrated plan. The plan aims to qualify specialized personnel in firefighting and rescue. This supports the National Development Agency’s continuous readiness. It enhances its ability to handle natural disasters and major accidents.

These training programs are implemented with the support of the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces. This reflects the leadership’s commitment. They aim to prepare national cadres. These cadres can support the national safety system. They also enhance the readiness of civil agencies to deal with various crises. This underscores the importance of advanced training. It is a fundamental element in developing institutional and professional performance. This applies to individuals and institutions.
