Sebha – The Committee for Urban Reorganization in Sebha removed the Al-Najdain station. The station is in the Al-Fateh district. Authorities found violations related to fuel storage. The station was not selling fuel to citizens. Instead, it was preparing to smuggle fuel illegally.
The committee issued a statement. It explained the removal followed field monitoring. Surveillance uncovered approximately 22,000 liters of diesel fuel inside the station. This fuel was prepared for smuggling. The station had been closed to citizens.
The committee confirmed these actions are part of its efforts. These efforts aim to combat fuel smuggling. They also address illegal practices. Such practices create crises in cities. The committee seeks to enforce discipline. It also applies the law against violators.
It stressed the continuation of field monitoring campaigns. These campaigns will apprehend violations. They target fuel distribution and storage. This ensures fuel reaches its beneficiaries legally and orderly.
