The tribal elders of Libya’s southern region Fezzan has demanded the release of all political prisoners, including those imprisoned for their affiliation with the regime of former ruler Muammar Gaddafi.
They called on Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, House Speaker Aguila Saleh and other state officials to release Gaddafi’s intelligence chief Abdullah Senussi, among other regime officials.
