Al-Marj – Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Armed Forces, inaugurated the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in Al-Marj after its renovation and the full upgrade of its facilities. The ceremony was attended by Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hamad, Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, National Security Advisor Abdelrazek Al-Nadhouri, Director General of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund Al-Qasim Haftar, several members of parliament, city elders, and a large number of residents.
Haftar highlighted Al-Marj’s proud history of sacrifice, saying the city has long played a significant role in serving the nation.
He affirmed the leadership’s support for development and reconstruction initiatives in Al-Marj, aiming to meet citizens’ aspirations and promote stability and prosperity.
Haftar also announced the launch of a new package of development and service projects dedicated to Al-Marj. These projects are intended to drive the city’s growth, support reconstruction, and improve the quality of services available to residents.
