Foreign Minister of the Libyan outgoing government, Najla Elmangoush, and her accompanying delegation participated in the twenty-first session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD) held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
Elmangoush reiterated her emphasis on strengthening CEN-SAD’s organs and enhancing their effectiveness, and Libya’s readiness for the return of the community to work from the Libyan capital, Tripoli, and to embrace its work at all levels.
In her speech during the opening session, Elmangoush stressed the importance of CEN-SAD in achieving peace and security in this space, which includes 25 countries from the African continent, and Libya, in turn, adheres to its African depth.
