Benghazi – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu al-Qasim Haftar, inspected the final preparations for a military parade at the Special Forces headquarters in Benghazi. He was accompanied by Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar. The two reviewed the readiness of the participating units.
The General Command released photos on Friday showing the commander and his deputy touring the Special Forces and Paratroopers School before the start of the parade. The event marks the twelfth anniversary of the Armed Forces’ entry into Benghazi on October 15, 2014, and their unification with the local population.
