Mohamed Aoun, the oil minister of the interim government, confirmed on Tuesday that his government does not intend to reduce the budget submitted to the House of Representatives, which amounts to 93.8 billion Libyan dinars (about USD 21 billion).
“The government does not intend to reduce the submitted budget, amounting to 93.8 billion dinars,” Aoun told reporters. “The budget will be presented to the House of Representatives for a vote, either to adopt it or reject it again.”
