The General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, stressed that dealing with crises in Libya will not succeed unless it stems from a popular will without any local or foreign interventions.
Haftar said, in a speech on the eighth anniversary of LNA Dignity Military Operation against terrorist groups, that “addressing the crises of our country will not succeed unless it stems from the will of the people.”
He stressed, “Any comprehensive settlement agreement is doomed to failure unless it enjoys the support of the people.”
Haftar added, “Our people must draw their road map without anyone’s interference, and then they will find the army present with its full force.”
