Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), held talks on Saturday with UN Special Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily at the LNA’s main headquarters in Benghazi.
“We reviewed recent developments and highlighted the urgency of finalizing the electoral laws and agreeing on the political conditions to lead the country to inclusive and peaceful elections,” Bathily said via Twitter.
