The General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, held talks today with a group of social and academic representatives from western Libya.
According to a statement by LNA’s media office, Haftar praised the initiatives of this delegation for “consolidating the role of youth” and “the importance of their efforts to serve the country at this critical stage”.
He emphasized upon “the inherent fraternal ties” between all Libyans, and “stressed the need to harness all resources and capabilities that achieve development, prosperity and peace throughout the Libyan soil.”
