Head of the Tripoli-based High Council of State (HCS), Khaled al-Mishri, said the Council has come a long way with the Parliament regarding the preparation of the constitutional rule.
“If it is approved in the near future, we expect that we will not go beyond the month of October to hold elections,” al-Mishri pointed out.
The Council will decide on Monday its position on resuming dialogue with the Parliament after the latter suspended the law establishing a constitutional court in Benghazi, he added.
