The Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) on
Wednesday voted unanimously to assign Counselor Muftah Al-Gawi as President of the Supreme Judicial Council, according to HoR Spokesman, Abdulla Bleihiq.
HoR also voted unanimously to amend Article 1 of Law No. 11 of 2021 AD regarding the judicial system, said Bleihiq.
HoR held its official session Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Speaker, Aguila Saleh, in the presence of the First and Second Deputy Speakers.
