Sirte – Medical sources reported from Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte. The urology department’s medical team performed 15 diverse surgeries. Patients came from various Libyan cities. Operations included laser kidney stone lithotripsy. They also performed stent placements and removals. Urethral corrections were also done. All procedures were successful, according to medical sources.
The head of the hospital’s urology department clarified. The operations were supervised by Dr. Imran Aburqaiga. He is a consultant urological surgeon. A specialized medical team also participated. This team included Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Lafi. Dr. Ezz El-Din Ajaj, Dr. Mohamed Al-Bayouk, and Dr. Miftah Al-Naqa were also part of the team.
Anesthesiologists also participated in the surgeries. Consultant Dr. Hassan Bin Sirtiya was among them. Dr. Asmaa Al-Houni also participated. Supporting medical staff from surgery and anesthesia departments contributed. Their efforts ensured the success of these surgical interventions. The medical team confirmed these operations.
