In the week from 24 to 30 March 2024, 480 migrants were intercepted and brought back to Libya, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Libya reports in the latest update published on its social media channels.
The majority of migrants intercepted last week were brought back to Tripoli (247 in March 25, 177 in March 28).
IOM also reports that, since the beginning of the year, 3,791 migrants have been returned to Libya, including 3,403 men, 267 women and 121 children.
