Member of the Libyan 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC), Major General Faraj al-Sawsa’, said JMC agreed in a meeting with delegates of countries that have mercenaries in the Southern region (Fezzan) to form joint committees to expel the mercenaries from Libya.
The committees will work at JMC headquarters in Sirte, al-Sawsa’ said in press statements on Monday.
The representatives of Chad and Sudan confirmed that they were in the process of opening dialogues with opposition forces to give them opportunity to return to their countries and leave their weapons, he explained.
“If they will not agree, we will find a way to get them out of Libya, al-Sawsa’ pointed out.
“Niger has elements that will also be expelled in cooperation with their country,” he added.
