Benghazi – The Khalid bin Al-Walid Polyclinic has launched the implementation phase of an early cancer detection program, supported by the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces and the Ministry of Health in the Libyan government.
On its first day, the program saw a good turnout from citizens. The clinic received several cases and conducted necessary medical examinations according to the approved plan. Medical, technical, and administrative staff supervised the process to ensure efficient service delivery.
The program aims to detect tumors at early stages to improve treatment options and increase recovery rates, offering screening services that meet established medical standards.
Clinic management confirmed they will continue receiving cases regularly until the end of the year. They called on eligible citizens to take advantage of this health initiative, which is part of efforts to enhance preventive services and raise the standard of healthcare.
