Vice President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Abdulla Al-Lafi, discussed in a meeting with the outgoing Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Dbeibeh, and the Western Region Chief of General Staff, Mohamed al-Haddad, the security and military conditions, especially the clashes that took place in Janzour, west of Tripoli, and the process of organizing the army.
The Media Office of the Presidential Council said that the meeting held in Tripoli also discussed financial and administrative settlements for members of the Libyan army, ways to organize the military system, and the application of laws and regulations applicable to military service.
It is noteworthy that Janzour, west of Tripoli, witnessed Saturday clashes among armed groups affiliated with the Defense Ministry of Dbeibeh’s government and others affiliated with the Interior Ministry.
