The 11th edition of the Libya International Telecommunications and Information Technology Exhibition kicked off in Tripoli on Monday evening.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the interim Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Chairman of the Telecommunications Holding Company, Mohamed Elayad, ministers, senior officials, and ambassadors, according to a statement by the Telecommunications Company on its Facebook page.
Representatives from global telecom and IT companies are participating in the exhibition, which aims to showcase the vision for comprehensive digital transformation in the telecom sector, and present the latest technological innovations seeking to develop the technical infrastructure in all vital areas.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to display and discuss the latest developments in communications and IT in Libya, support digital transformation efforts, spread technical awareness, and contribute to developing this vital sector.
