The two presidencies of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC) and the High Council of State (HCS) welcomed on Monday the rapprochement between the House of Representatives (HoR) and HCS.
The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, and the President of HCS, Khaled al-Mishri, discussed in a meeting in Tripoli the latest developments in the political process.
The meeting followed up on the latest developments and the current situation in the country, stressing support for the road map.
The two sides stressed the need to maintain the popular momentum for holding elections on correct constitutional bases to pass the transitional phase.
