Libya recorded on Sunday 4,061 new cases of COVID-19, while 28 people were recorded to have died and 651 others recovered, according to a statement by the National Central for Disease Control (NCDC).
This brings the total toll of recorded COVID-19 cases in Libya to over 221,000 cases since the start of the pandemic, over 183,000 of which have recovered. Death toll of the virus have reached 3,281 in total, while over 480,116 people were vaccinated.
