Libya records 568 new cases, 17 deaths of COVID-19

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced Thursday the registration of 568 new cases of COVID-19, in addition to 1617 recovery cases, 17 deaths, and 127 critical cases.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya, since its spread in March 2020, to 363,483, including 313,090 recoveries, 45,135 active cases, and 5,258 deaths, NCDC said a statement today.

1,594,665 people have received the first dose of vaccine against COVID-19, and 521,241 have received the second dose, according to NCDC.
