Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will travel to Paris to attend a conference on Libya on Friday and to hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement.
The President intends to focus, during the conference, on the solidarity of the international community to support Libya to conduct the expected elections on its scheduled date next December, as well as the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, the statement pointed out.
The conference is being organized with the United Nations, Germany, and Italy, and comes ahead of elections planned in Libya for December 24.
