Libya plans to evacuate its citizens from Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of the country, the Libyan Embassy announced on Friday.
A committee supervising the evacuation process has set up gathering centres for Libyan nationals in preparation for flying them back home.
Libyans residing in eastern Ukraine were asked to head to the capital, Kyiv, to transfer them from there to the Slovak border.
The city of Chor Kiv was set up as a gathering point for those residing in cities to the west of Kyiv, according to the embassy.
