Libya is set to increase its oil production to two million barrels a day, according to its government.
Minister of Oil and Gas Mohamed Oun told the press today production would reach this figure before the end of 2030.
“We will begin to see growth results within two to three years, and up to approximately five to seven years, when we reach the goal of two million barrels per day,” said Oun, adding that the investment will not be limited to existing fields but will also include sectors not yet developed.
