Benghazi – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan Government and Minister of Defense, Ahmid Huma, discussed on Wednesday in Benghazi with the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Abdullah Arhuma, ways to support labor and rehabilitation offices in the southern region. The meeting was attended by Representative Youssef Kamoud, Vice Chairman of the Labor, Youth, and Social Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives.
The meeting addressed the follow-up on the implementation of the second phase of maintenance and rehabilitation projects for labor offices, as part of the government’s “Together for the South” plan. It also included a discussion of several administrative challenges facing some offices in the region.
The Deputy Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Ministry of Labor and its commitment to developing the sector, appreciating the continuous coordination to improve the level of services provided to citizens in the southern regions.
For his part, the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation affirmed the ministry’s continued support for the offices in the south and its commitment to overcoming the difficulties faced by their employees. He praised the warm reception and the government’s attention to this vital file.
