Representative Jibril Whaida has expressed optimism about holding elections in Libya before the end of the year.
Speaking in a press statement, Whaida explained that there would be no obstacles to holding elections if the (6+6) committee completed the electoral laws within the specified period.
However, Wahida also warned of obstruction by countries who seek to perpetuate the crisis in Libya. “Obstructors have countries to help them and want the crisis to continue in Libya,” he said.
