Libya’s House of Representatives will review the candidacy files of those who were nominated to lead a new interim government, which would replace the government of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, a member of parliament revealed on Tuesday.
Aisha Al-Tablaki told reporters the parliament’s Road Map Committee will also present its final report during the same session.
The House voted on Monday to replace Dbeibeh’s government due to its failure to organize the general elections that were supposed to take place in December last year. The House announced on Tuesday that it started to accept candidates’ paperwork for the position of the Prime Minister and the selection of the winning name to replace Dbeibah will take place on February 08.
