The Libyan Public Prosecutor has ordered the detention of the Eduction Minister, Mussa Al-Mgariaf, in connection with the case of negligence in printing school books for this year.
According to media sources, al-Mgariaf was charged with negligence and misuse of powers of public office, after he failed to complete the contracting procedures for school textbooks despite the availability of the budget and obtaining permission from the competent authorities.
