Libyan Special Forces Conduct Advanced Parachute Training in Belarus

As part of the 2030 development and modernization plan, units of the Libyan Special Forces, “Al-Saiqa and Paratroopers,” have carried out intensive high-altitude parachute training in the Republic of Belarus, under the direct supervision and follow-up of the Deputy General Commander, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar.

The War Information Division stated that this training is part of the General Commander of the Armed Forces’ vision to develop and modernize all branches of the military, aiming to enhance combat efficiency and readiness to face various challenges.

The training, which took place in variable weather conditions, included parachute jumps with full military equipment and the use of oxygen systems at different altitudes. The exercises simulated landings behind enemy lines in rugged geographical areas, a drill designed to hone the members’ free-fall skills, boost their self-confidence, and improve their ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
