Benghazi– The Arab Women’s Media Network honored Dr. Suad Al-Shili, a member of the House of Representatives and the Honorary President of Libyan Women Pioneers, in recognition of her rich career and continuous contributions to serving the causes of women and society within Libya and across the Arab world.
During the honoring ceremony held today, Saturday, Dr. Al-Shili was presented with an honorary medal and a certificate of appreciation, on behalf of the President of the Arab Women’s Media Network, affirming her status as one of the most prominent female leaders in the Arab world.
The network’s delegation, which included the Secretary-General, the General Coordinator, and a number of media and feminist figures, praised the pioneering role of Dr. Suad Al-Shili, considering her a national and humanitarian symbol to be emulated in the journey of advancing women, defending their rights, and empowering them in various fields.
For her part, Dr. Al-Shili expressed her gratitude for this honor, noting that this recognition represents significant moral support for Libyan and Arab women and reinforces the spirit of work and commitment to the causes of the nation and women.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Suad Al-Shili is considered one of the prominent female figures in Libya. Through her parliamentary and social work, she has contributed to launching several initiatives aimed at empowering women and enhancing their effective participation in political, economic, and social life.
