Foreign Minister of the Libyan Parliament-appointed Government, Abdul Hadi al-Huwaij, made a phone call on Saturday with the Syrian Foreign Minister, Faisal Mekdad, where they exchanged means of activating relations between the two brotherly countries, according to the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
The two parties stressed the importance of opening the Syrian consulate in Benghazi and accelerating the pace of cooperation at all levels for the benefit of the two brotherly countries, in implementation of the agreement signed between the two governments on 1 March, 2020, said the Ministry’s Media Office.
