The 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee (JMC) will meet in Sirte on 15th of January next year, revealed U.N. Special Envoy to Libya Abdoulaye Bathily.
The U.N. diplomat made the announcement during his opening remarks at a plenary session of Libya’s Security Working Group meeting in Tunis last Thursday.
According to Bathily, the committee will discuss “specific outstanding aspects of the ceasefire agreement and the operationalization of relevant mechanisms”.
