Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, said on Saturday that his government is pressuring the state-owned General Electricity Company to find solutions for the country’s long term electricity crisis, while anticipating an end to the crisis by November.
During a press event in Tripoli, Dbeibeh faced questions regarding his interim government’s pledge to end the electricity crisis within six months.
“When I talked about solving the electricity problem within six months, I meant the six months after the budget was approved,” he responded.
