Cairo – As part of enhancing joint military cooperation and monitoring qualification and training programs, the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar, conducted a visit to the Military College in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the visit, Lieutenant General Haftar met with Libyan students studying at the college, where he was briefed on their preparation and training programs. He also inspected the modern facilities and equipment provided by the college to support the educational and qualification process.
The Chief of the General Staff praised the advanced level of the Egyptian Military College, affirming that it is one of the most prominent military educational institutions contributing to honing the skills of officers and preparing them at the highest level to assume the significant responsibilities entrusted to them. He also commended the advanced educational curricula and modern training programs adopted by the college, which ensure the graduation of qualified and professional officers.
This visit comes within the framework of the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces’ commitment to continuously follow up on the military preparation and training programs for its personnel, both at home and abroad, with the aim of building a strong and professional army capable of performing its duties with high efficiency and maintaining the security and stability of the country.
This visit reflects the depth of military relations between Libya and the Arab Republic of Egypt and the mutual desire to strengthen them in various fields, especially in training and the exchange of expertise.
