LNA: Any Libyan dialogue exclude Hammad’s Government is unbalanced, unacceptable

A high-level source of the Libyan National Army’s General Command said in press statements that any political dialogue between the Libyan actors that does not include an invitation to representatives of the Libyan Government is an unbalanced and unacceptable.

LNA source stressed: “We communicated our position to the UN envoy in our last meeting with him in Benghazi, and we were informed of his acceptance of adding representatives of the Libyan Government” (the Parliament-appointed government, led by Osama Hammad).

The source added that the UN envoy did not adhere to what he said in the meeting, and therefore LNA would not participate in the dialogue.
