The Chief of Staff of the Libyan National Army’s Land Forces has announced the equipping of the 603rd Infantry Battalion, affiliated with the (21) Brigade, with the latest military equipment and capabilities.
This step aims to enhance its combat efficiency and field readiness, according to the Chief of Staff.
It explained that this support comes as part of a comprehensive plan to develop Libyan army units, noting that arming the 603rd Battalion with the latest means reflects the LNA General Command commitment to protecting the homeland and securing southern Libya with high efficiency and effectiveness.
The Chief of Staff emphasized that this step is part of an integrated strategy to enhance defense capabilities, ensuring the forces’ ability to confront any potential threat and contributing to consolidating the foundations of security and stability throughout the country.
It also emphasized that the General Command continues its commitment to modernizing the military infrastructure and improving the performance of its personnel, in line with current and future security challenges.
