Member of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) Ahmed al-Sharkasi said that the new Prime Minister, Fathi Bashagha, will not enter Tripoli by force, but will resort to using all political and diplomatic tools to isolate the outgoing government of Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh politically and economically.
Al-Sharkasi added in press statements that holding elections this year is still possible, stressing that Libya today needs to renew legitimacy.
LPDF member called on the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) to present an alternative in the event the parliament and the High Council of State fail to agree on a constitutional basis for the elections.
