NCDC records 48 new cases and 2 deaths of COVID-19 in Libya

NCDC: 599 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Libya

The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Thursday the registration of 48 new cases of COVID-19 in Libya.

NCDC also announced 127 recoveries and 2 deaths of the disease, according to a statement published on its official Facebook page..

The percentage of positive cases reached 7.7% of the total 617 samples analyzed; 569 of them were negative, while two deaths were recorded in the western region.

Thus, the total number of cases registered in Libya since the emergence of the pandemic has increased to 501,705, including 5,337 active cases, while 489,653 recoveries, and 6,415 deaths, NCDC pointed out.
