Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Mangoush, announced starting exit of foreign fighters from the country, in a step that would open the door to implementing the faltering roadmap.
“Groups of foreign fighters have already left Libya,” Mangoush said in a joint press conference with her Kuwaiti counterpart.
She described the move as a “very simple beginning” for the exit of foreign fighters from Libya.
The file of foreign fighters and mercenaries is one of the most important obstacles to the implementation of the road map in Libya, which is hoped to lead to elections at the end of this year.
