The Libyan government headed by Fathi Bashagha, appointed by the Libyan Parliament, announced that Bashagha’s meeting with Field Marshal Khalifa Hafar, commander of the Libyan National Army, discussed the current political situation, foreign and armed military presence on Libyan territory, combating terrorism, illegal immigration, and border protection.
The meeting, which took place in al-Rajma, east of Benghazi, was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hafid Qaddor, Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs Muhammad Farhat, and Director of the Office of the General Commander Lieutenant General Khairy Al-Tamimi.
