The General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received today in Benghazi, the Head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Major General Hassan Rashad, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Major General Hassan Rashad conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to Field Marshal Haftar, stressing the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly peoples of Egypt and Libya.
For his part, Field Marshal Haftar expressed his pride and great appreciation for President Sisi and the Egyptian people, appreciating Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting Libya’s stability and contributing to finding solutions to the Libyan crisis.
