The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received the elders, notables, and sages of the Kikla city tribes at the Marshal Khalifa Haftar Military City, in the presence of the Head of the Libyan Government, Osama Hammad.

During the meeting, the elders and notables of the Kikla tribes expressed their deep appreciation for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abulqasim Haftar, praising the role of the Armed Forces in maintaining security and stability, protecting citizens, and supporting their choices toward restoring the state and building its institutions.

For his part, the Commander-in-Chief welcomed the elders and notables of the Kikla tribes, commending their patriotic stances and their keenness to enhance national reconciliation efforts and adhere to the unity and integrity of Libya.

The Commander-in-Chief indicated that Libyans aspire for their country to witness comprehensive stability and development in all sectors, stressing that the disagreements between the state’s supreme institutions hinder their ability to perform their duties towards the citizen.

The Commander-in-Chief affirmed that the political crisis and institutional disintegration have caused citizens to endure suffering in facing life’s demands and challenges, emphasizing that the Libyan people are the most entitled and capable of correcting the course to ensure the country’s unity, build the state, and achieve comprehensive renaissance in all fields.
