The General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, met in his office in Benghazi with the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense, Yunus-bek Yevkurov.
Yevkurov expressed the full solidarity of the Russian government with the Libyan people and their leadership in confronting the floods crisis.
The Russian Deputy Minister of Defense stressed his country’s endeavor to contribute to providing the required support within the affected cities and regions.
This comes within the framework of a series of intensive meetings on the repercussions of the floods that swept through the cities of Jabal Al Akhdar and the eastern coast of Libya.
