The Chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, held talks on Saturday with U.N. Special Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily.
According to a statement by the council, Menfi renewed his support for the efforts of the U.N. envoy, and “the steps he is taking to complete the implementation of the provisions of the road map.”
For his part, Bathily reaffirmed his commitment to the road map emanating from the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) “as a ground for moving towards achieving political consensus in Libya” .
