President of the Libyan Presidential Council (PC), Mohamed al-Menfi, held a meeting with the President of the President of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled al-Mishri, to discuss the latest results of the constitutional track meetings held in Cairo between the two committees of the House of Representatives (HoR) and HCS.
PC said in a statement that the meeting also discussed the latest political issues in the country, and ways to overcome the current crisis and get the country out of the transitional periods to reach permanent stability.
The two parties stressed the need to continue support for the political process to restore stability to the country, and to support the constitutional path to reach a final solution to the political crisis by holding parliamentary and presidential elections on correct constitutional and legal foundations.
