In a move to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces and the Jordanian Armed Forces, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, conducted an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan following a formal invitation.
An official reception ceremony was held at the General Command Headquarters of the Jordanian Armed Forces. Leading the reception was the Jordanian Chief of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, alongside senior Jordanian military and security officials.
During the visit, bilateral meetings were held to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and coordination. The talks focused on exchanging expertise in the fields of military training, development, and capacity building.
Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar also conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu al-Qasim Haftar, to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and the brotherly Jordanian people. He emphasized the depth of the bilateral relations and the strong bonds shared between the two nations.
