Most German diplomats return to work in Tripoli ahead of reopening embassy, says ambassador

The German embassy in Tripoli will be reopened shortly after having carried out its work for nine years from the Tunisian capital Tunis, announced Ambassador Michael Onhmcht on Friday.

“Most of German diplomats will now permanently move to their workplace in Tripoli, and their main goal for next year is to facilitate all procedures for the relocation of the remaining colleagues to Libya, including the visa team,” Onhmcht said via Twitter.
